While Vice President Leni Robredo is taking a vacation in the United States, President Rodrigo Duterte is set to fly to Bicol region Tuesday (Dec. 27) to lead the distribution of relief goods to victims of Typhoon “Nina.”
From Davao, Duterte will head to Catanduanes and Camarines Sur in the afternoon to give out aid to typhoon victims.
The two provinces were among the areas severely affected by the typhoon since it first made landfall in Catanduanes on Christmas Day.
Robredo has drawn flak from some netizens because she was in the US while Bicol, her bailiwick, was being battered by the typhoon. [source]
