Robredo supporters attempted to get credit from DSWD relief goods, says journalist

Journalist Inday Espina-Varona on her Facebook account revealed that the supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo tried to give the credit for the relief goods for typhoon Nina victims from the Department of Social Welfare and Development to the Vice President’s office.

The relief goods, according to the Facebook page Bangon Naga were “coursed through the Office of the Vice President”.

Espina-Varona said that this is one way for Leni’s supporters to “destroy their heroine”.

She said another news outlet reported packs being prepared in the Robredo residence.

“Another Bangon Naga post shows “On going packing of relief goods at Robredo residence.”

She however said that that there is no sign that the VP has been repacking the DSWD goods to distribute as her own donation [source]
