In a statement, here’s what Christopher Carter, CEO of GlobalComix, had to say on the new DC Comics partnership:

DC is responsible for some of the most respected and revered pop culture icons, and we are thrilled to offer hundreds of their iconic stories to our readers across the globe. With 400 books totaling approximately 75,000 pages, DC and DC Vertigo fans will have a wealth of content at their fingertips.

The comics available in this first round are several iconic and influential DC titles from over the years. Grant Morrison’s Doom Patrol run heavily inspired the Max TV series, which lasted four seasons. Meanwhile, Sweet Tooth has become a huge hit on Netflix. Many other comics were the inspirations behind high-profile movies and TV series. Comic book fans will have an opportunity to engage with GlobalComix’s DC Channel at New York Comic Con (Oct 17-20) at booth 3300 on the Show Floor.
