Gen V and The Boys continue to ebb and flow into each other while also maintaining their own distinct storylines and characters. Sophomore year at God U has plenty of chaos and dark secrets for Marie, Jordan, Emma, and Andre’s father Polarity to deal with. But that doesn’t mean that there isn’t space and time for some fun cameo appearances from some of our favorite The Boys characters. Here’s every The Boys supe who appears in Gen V season two.
Annie (formerly Starlight)

In the very first episode, Annie appears in the nick of time to save Marie from being captured by Dogknott, who was sent to sniff her out for Vought. She encourages Marie to head back to campus and find out everything she can about Project Odessa, an initiative that is directly tied to God U. Annie keeps saying that “we” are trying to find out the truth, but doesn’t tell Marie who she’s working with. Interesting.
Dogknott
Speaking of Dogknott, we’ve seen him before in The Boys. He was considered for a spot in the Seven until he told everyone he had sex with an actual dog. Gross. So, even though he’s not a star supe, Vought still uses him to find Marie.
The Deep

It’s not shocking to see yet another appearance from God U alum The Deep. He appears for a Greek fraternity initiation and the subsequent party that takes place afterwards. At that ceremony, we see Sam, who is starting to spiral after finding out about Andre’s death. We also get a little more puppet The Deep when Sam watches Avenue V with Jordan. There’s also a special appearance in that show of a puppet Black Noir.
Firecracker
Bless our hearts, we get to see Firecracker on TV once again. She speaks out about Cate Dunlap’s attack and, of course, blames Starlighters for trying to hurt supes. Firecracker, Jesus, and Homelander’s collective prayers work to save Cate’s life (not really, but hey). Just wait until they find out she cannot access her powers.
Sister Sage

Episode five marks the bizarre arrival of Sage, who is now the CEO of Vought and still pulling the strings with Homelander. She shows up at Cipher’s house and doesn’t seem shocked to find him taking care of that unidentified person. In fact, Sage and Cipher have sex right in front of him. Weird. They are in cahoots with trying to unlock the full potential of Marie’s powers and push her limits in Elmira.
They kill her sister Annabeth but Marie is able to bring her back to life. Sage and Cipher are in a race to get Marie to where she needs to be, and this all seems to be something that would piss Homelander off. Is Sage still just causing chaos for the heck of it? Or does she really have a deeper motive? We will see. This Gen V cameo is certainly setting up what we will see in The Boys season five.
Victoria Neuman’s Daughter Zoe and Stan Edgar
In episode 6, we got the shock of a lifetime when Victoria Neuman’s daughter Zoe showed up to save Marie and company after they broke out of Elmira. Stan Edgar dished on information about Project Odessa, revealing that Homelander was the only other surviving baby subject besides Marie Moreau, and suggesting that Thomas Godolkin would be the only one who can stop Cipher.
Sadly, the next episode proved that the man we thought was Cipher was just a regular dude under the mind control of Thomas Godolkin, the formerly burnt guy who is now spry thanks to Marie healing him.
Let’s see who else shows up for sophomore year.
