The power of manifestation is real, and so is the desire to make a ton of money. Just ask Kirsten Dunst. In 2025, Dunst told Variety that she’d totally star in A Minecraft Movie sequel to make a lot of money and because her kids love it. Those are two very valid reasons to be in a film. Now, Kirsten Dunst will actually star in the sequel for A Minecraft Movie in a currently undisclosed role, according to Deadline.
She’s joining returning cast members Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks, Matt Berry, and Jennifer Coolidge. We don’t know the sequel’s plot yet, and it really doesn’t matter. The first film made almost a billion dollars worldwide, so we expect the same greatness from its follow up.
That means Kirsten Dunst is a powerful manifesting queen whose kids are going to enjoy lots of red carpet events. Truly a win-win situation if we have ever heard one!
The Minecraft sequel film will release on July 23, 2027.
