Welcome (back) to the family for more chaotic good times. Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair is bringing Malcolm back to television for a four-episode revival event on April 10 to Hulu and Hulu on Disney+, and we finally have a trailer to see what’s going down. In it, we learn that Malcolm has kept his girlfriend and teenage daughter away from his folks until his mom and dad request his presence for their 40th anniversary. And, well, things go the way you think they would.
The original cast is back in action, Frankie Muniz as Malcolm, Bryan Cranston as Hal, Jane Kaczmarek as Lois, Christopher Kennedy Masterson as Francis, Justin Berfield portraying Reese, and Emy Coligado as Piama.
I really love the addition of Kiana Madiera, whom you’ll recognize as Deena from Netflix’s Fear Street trilogy, as Malcolm’s unsuspecting girlfriend Tristan. We even learn in the clip that she had no idea that Malcolm has brothers. That’s kinda sad but, with the way they act, you can totally understand why Malcolm went MIA for a decade.
If you’re down to watch Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair after this trailer, you can always watch the original series in its entirety on Disney+. Who doesn’t like to see Malcolm going through it with his family? We certainly do.
