Vice President Leni Robredo has returned to her bailiwick of Bicol region to visit her kababayans affected by Typhoon Nina (Nock-ten), more than two weeks after leaving the country for the United States.
Robredo began her four-day visit of typhoon-stricken areas Tuesday (January 3) in Camarines Sur. She will be inspecting the condition of the affected towns as well as talking to residents.
Aside from visiting her home province, the Vice President is also set to visit Catanduanes and Albay between Tuesday and Friday (January 6).
Robredo has drawn flak for pushing through with her US trip as Bicol region, braced for the onslaught of Typhoon Nina on Christmas Day.
