It is impossible to have too many vampire stories. Sometimes they are fresh takes on the classic gothic monster. That’s what we will probably get in Sinners, an upcoming horror film by Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan. But there’s nothing like taking a tried-and-true story and giving it another update, which is what Robert Eggers is doing in this trailer for Nosferatu.
Is there a more perfect person to play Count Orlok than Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok? The answer to that question is no. The object of Orlok’s affection, Ellen Hutter, is portrayed by Lily-Rose Depp and it is pretty clear that this story will be twisted and awesome. In the clip, she slowly succumbs to the calling from something that no one else quite understands. It’s a bizarre and dark look into this story about a creature who wants to consume.
