Are you excited to experience The Vampire Lestat’s soundtrack in a whole new way? A more delicious, more jewel-toned way that I know you all have been asking for? Well, Beloveds, Beautifully Unwell, etc., the time has come to listen to The Vampire Lestat’s music in the fine fashion the diva Lestat and composer Daniel Hart surely intended all along. Yes, we at Nerdist are thrilled to exclusively announce that The Vampire Lestat soundtrack is heading to vinyl, and we have your first look at the LP. The Vampire Lestat vinyl will be available on November 27. It will, of course, be performed by Lestat himself. (Who occasionally goes by Sam Reid)
The Vampire Lestat’s soundtrack vinyl will feature 11 of Lestat’s greatest hits. (For now… Queen of the Damned is coming after all.) That means “Your Biggest Fan,” “The Loneliness,” and “Brutal Love” will hit your eardrums in richer, more melodious tones than ever before.
We notice Lestat snuck in one last slight toward The Vampire Armand by NOT including “Big Boss” on The Vampire Lestat soundtrack vinyl release. You chop off ONE head, and no one will ever let you hear the end of it! Sorry, Armand, darling, there’s always season four to get your revenge.
This The Vampire Lestat soundtrack vinyl comes in “Purple Smoke” and includes a full color insert. Purple is the color of royalty after all, mon cher. And this gorgeous vinyl also features some deliciously irreverent vampire teeth snapping out at you in bright blue. We love it. Lestat does have the greatest style. We also love to see Lestat decorating the album’s front and back covers. It’s not called The Diabolicule, now is it? No. It’s The Vampire Lestat. Solo. Period.
